Prime Minister Janez Janša stressed at the Bled Strategic Forum that Europe's ability to continue shaping the world around it will depend above all on four strategic factors: security, resilience, demographic vitality and credibility. "The power to shape the future is built gradually. But the moments that determine it often come suddenly," he said.

The implementation of measures and projects under the Recovery and Resilience Plan (RRP), supported by the European Union through the Recovery and Resilience Facility – NextGenerationEU, is in its final stage. Presented below are two measures aimed at strengthening flood safety and reducing the risk of other climate-related disasters.

At today's session, the Government issued the Decree on the mandatory contribution for the promotion of agricultural and food products in the fruit sector for 2027–2029 and the amendment to the Decree on healthcare service programmes for 2026. At the same time, the Government included two new investment projects for the Employment Service of Slovenia in the 2026–2029 Development Programmes Plan.

The Ministry of Local Self-Government, Cohesion and Regional Policy has approved EU funding for street redesign projects in Maribor and Koper. The projects will be implemented under the Integrated Territorial Investments mechanism which supports integrated urban development. The projects will receive €4.56 million from the European Regional Development Fund.
