At its meeting today, the Government adopted the preliminary programmes for the repair of direct damage to property caused by the flooding on 4 August 2023, by the storm with flooding between 12 and 13 July 2023 and by the storm with flooding between 17 July and 3 August 2023.

Preliminary programme for the repair of direct damage to property caused by the storm with flooding between 12 and 13 July 2023

The Government adopts its Preliminary Programme for the repair of direct damage to property caused by the storm with flooding between 12 and 13 July 2023.

The appropriations for the implementation of the Preliminary Programme, amounting to EUR 3,613,000, shall be provided for in the state budget.

The advance payment of the funds shall be granted to local communities or allocated to other direct budget users on the basis of a preliminary disaster recovery programme up to a maximum of 40% of the preliminary estimate of the direct damage to property prepared by the ministry responsible for protection against natural and other disasters.

The proposed amount of the allocation of funds to local communities and other direct budget users shall be based on an assessment of the damage to municipal property or is estimated as damage to watercourses.

The appropriations for the implementation of the Preliminary Programme, amounting to EUR 8,540,000, shall be provided for in the state budget.

The advance payment of the funds shall be granted to local communities or allocated to other direct budget users on the basis of a preliminary disaster recovery programme up to a maximum of 40% of the preliminary estimate of the direct damage to property prepared by the ministry responsible for protection against natural and other disasters.

The proposed amount of the allocation of funds to local communities and other direct budget users shall be based on an assessment of the damage to municipal property or is estimated as damage to watercourses.

The Government adopts its Preliminary Programme for the repair of direct damage to property caused by the floods of 4 August 2023.

The appropriations for the implementation of the Preliminary Programme, amounting to EUR 222,000,000, shall be provided for in the state budget.

The advance payment of the funds shall be granted to local communities on the basis of a preliminary disaster recovery programme up to a maximum of 40% of the preliminary estimate of the direct damage to property prepared by the ministry responsible for protection against natural and other disasters.

The proposed amount of the allocation of funds to local communities and other direct budget users shall be based on a preliminary assessment of the damage to municipal property.

The preliminary disaster recovery programme shall contain a preliminary assessment of the damage to each beneficiary, a proposal for the amount of the allocation of funds to each beneficiary and a proposal for urgent measures for dealing with the consequences of the disaster. The preliminary disaster recovery programme shall become an integral part of the disaster recovery programme.
