Division for Commercial Law, Aid and Restructuring Companies in Difficulties, and Intellectual Property

The Division for Commercial Law, Aid and Restructuring Companies in Difficulties, and Intellectual Property determines the conditions for the establishment and operation of economic entities. If companies find themselves in difficulties, we can also offer them financial assistance under certain conditions.

At the division, we also take care of the field of intellectual property, both from a legislative point of view and through the cooperation and integration of all stakeholders in the field of copyright and industrial property rights.

At the division, contracts of managers in companies majority owned by the Republic of Slovenia or local communities are monitored. The company’s supervisory body must forward the contract with the director to the Ministry of Economic Development and Technology immediately after it is concluded.
