About the Ministry of Demography, Family and Social Affairs

The Ministry of Demography, Family and Social Affairs is responsible for policies relating to demography, equal opportunities, family and social affairs, disability services, long-term care, the deinstitutionalisation of older people and issues relating to a longevity society. It is also responsible for social protection relating to institutional care, home care services, and employment under special conditions, as well as for matters relating to economic democracy.
