  • State Secretary mag. Monika Kirbiš Rojs: “Recovery and resilience funds are an opportunity for green transformation.”

    State Secretary mag. Monika Kirbiš Rojs attended the video conference Trends in Sustainable Financing, hosted by the Centre for Energy Efficient Solutions and the Representation of the European Commission. She presented the process of developing Slovenia’s Recovery and Resilience Plan and the planned measures in the field of green and sustainable development.

  • EU funding for at-home rehabilitation programmes

    Government Office for Development and European Cohesion Policy has issued a financial support decision for the call for proposals “Mobile rehabilitation teams” which will be published by the Ministry of Health. The total funding made available under the call for proposals and contributed by the European Social Fund amounts to EUR 1 million.

  • EU funding for cycling path from Litija to Pogonik settlement

    Government Office for Development and European Cohesion Policy has issued a financial support decision for the project “Construction of the cycling path from the town of Litija to the settlement of Pogonik”. The project worth EUR 3 million will be implemented by the Munucipality of Litija and will receive approximately EUR 981,000 of European Regional Development Fund support.

  • National Recovery and Resilience Plan proposal

    Government of the Republic of Slovenia took note of the activities regarding the draft national Recovery and Resilience Plan which was approved on 8 October 2020 and instructed the Government Office for Development and European Cohesion Policy to submit the said proposal to the Government for approval after the European Parliament adopts the EU Regulation establishing a Recovery and Resilience Facility in February 2021.

    State Secretary mag. Monika Kirbiš Rojs attended an event that was part of the Zlati pogovori cycle, which takes place on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the Zlati kamen event. In the virtual conversation “How to get funds for municipalities after 2020?”, State Secretary underlined that municipalities and development regions are important partners in the process of planning the use of European Cohesion Policy funds for the period 2021-2027 as well as the funds available under the Recovery and Resilience Facility.

  • EU funding for new premises of the Centre for Treatment of Children’s Diseases in Šentvid pri Stični

    Government Office for Development and European Cohesion Policy has issued a financial support decision for the project “Construction of a new building of the Centre for Treatment of Children’s Diseases”. The project worth over EUR 5.8 million will be managed by the Ministry of Health and will receive a little over EUR 4.4 million of European Regional Development Fund support.

  • EU funding for wastewater treatment in Meža River basin

    Government Office for Development and European Cohesion Policy has issued a financial support decision for the project “Wastewater collection and treatment in the Meža River basin – Municipality Mežica”. The project worth EUR 529,000 will be implemented by the Municipality Mežica and will receive EUR 272,000 of Cohesion Fund support.

  • EU funding for social services and intergenerational cooperation in Brežice and Krško

    Government Office for Development and European Cohesion Policy has issued a financial support decision for the project “Network of social services and intergenerational cooperation”. The project worth EUR 855,000 will be implemented by the Municipality Brežice and the Municipality Krško and will receive EUR 280,000 of European Regional Development Fund support.

  • State Secretary mag. Monika Kirbiš Rojs: “EU funding will play a crucial role in Slovenia’s recovery and resilience”

    State Secretary mag. Monika Kirbiš Rojs participated in the online expert conference on areas that will receive EU 2021-2027 funding. She presented the preparations for European Cohesion Policy implementation in the period 2021-2027 and the use of the funding available under the Recovery and Resilience Facility. The event, which was attended by over 1,200 participants, was hosted by Tiko Pro Event company on the occasion of its tenth anniversary.

  • EU funding for quality living of people with intellectual disabilities in Koroška

    Government Office for Development and European Cohesion Policy has issued a financial support decision for the project “Establishment of residential group care for adults with intellectual disabilities in the cohesion region Vzhodna Slovenija”. The project worth EUR 4.8 million will be implemented by the Training, Work and Care Centre Črna na Koroškem and will receive over EUR 3.8 million of European Regional Development Fund support.

  • EUR 49 million of EU funding for Karavanke railway tunnel

    Government Office for Development and European Cohesion Policy has issued a financial support decision for the project “Safety and technical upgrade of the Karavanke railway tunnel”. The project worth EUR 79.3 will be implemented by the Slovenian Infrastructure Agency and will receive EUR 49.2 of Cohesion Fund support.

  • EU funding for sewerage in Drava River basin in Maribor

    Government Office for Development and European Cohesion Policy has issued a financial support decision for the project “Collection and treatment in the Drava River basin – Urban Municipality of Maribor”. The project worth EUR 11 million will be implemented by the Urban Municipality of Maribor and will receive nearly EUR 4.3 million of European Regional Development Fund support.

  • EU funding for modernising craft and industrial zone in Trbovlje

    Government Office for Development and European Cohesion Policy has issued a financial support decision for the project “Infrastructural modernisation of the craft and industrial zone Nasipi”. The project worth over EUR 2.8 million will be implemented by the Municipality of Trbovlje and will receive nearly EUR 1.74 million of European Regional Development Fund support.

  • EU funding for cycle route in Izola

    Government Office for Development and European Cohesion Policy has issued a financial support decision for the project “Izola cycle route”. The project worth a little under EUR 1.9 million will be implemented by the Municipality Izola and will receive EUR 763,000 of European Regional Development Fund support.

  • EU funding for co-financing operating costs for companies in tourism and hospitality sector during the COVID-19 epidemic

    Government Office for Development and European Cohesion Policy has issued a financial support decision for the project “Co-financing of operating costs for companies in tourism and hospitality sector during the COVID-19 epidemic”. The project worth EUR 10 million will be implemented by the public agency SPIRIT and will receive over EUR 7.2 million of European Regional Development Fund support.

  • EU funding for the sewerage system in the Kolpa river basin available also to Municipality Črnomelj

    Government Office for Development and European Cohesion Policy has issued a grant decision for the project “Wastewater discharge and treatment in the Kolpa river basin – Municipality Črnomelj”. Total project funding amounts to nearly EUR 3.6 million of which a little less than EUR 1.6 million is Cohesion Fund contribution. Cohesion Fund support has recently also been awarded to Municipality Metlika for wastewater discharge and treatment in the Kolpa river basin.

  • Minister Černač visits Obsotelje, Kozjansko and Haloze regions

    Minister for Development and EU Cohesion Policy Zvone Černač today met with mayors from the Obsotelje, Kozjansko and Haloze regions to take stock of the progress made in the implementation of 2014-2020 projects and discuss the preparations for the 2021-2027 programming period.

  • Government approves draft National Recovery and Resilience Plan

    At today’s session Government of the Republic of Slovenia took note of and approved draft National Recovery and Resilience Plan that shall serve as the basis for drawing on the funding available under the Recovery and Resilience Facility (RRF). Slovenia is eligible to EUR 5.2 billion of which EUR 1.6 billion is available as grants and EUR 3.6 billion as loans.

  • Minister Černač visits the Koroška region: “EU funding of the Just Transition Fund available also to the Mežiška dolina valley.”

    In the framework of the Government visit to the Koroška region Zvone Černač, Minister for Development and EU Cohesion Policy, met with the representatives of the Koroška region municipalities, namely the municipality of Vuzenica, Ravne na Koroškem Prevalje, Črna na Koroškem and Mežica. In Mežica Minister Černač and Minister for Economic Development and Technology, Zdravko Počivalšek, opened the access road the Museum Peca Underground. At the end of the regional visit Minister Černač attended the public Government gathering.

    Government Office for Development and European Cohesion Policy has issued a grant decision for the call for proposals “Research and development projects to remedy the consequences of COVID-19”. The funding available under the said call for proposals amounts to EUR 5 million of which EUR 4 million is European Regional Development Fund contribution.
