Prime Minister Janez Janša attended the Slovenian Business Summit today, where he joined business representatives for a discussion on the competitiveness of the Slovenian and European economies, the importance of a stable and predictable business environment, tax policy, development opportunities and measures to keep energy prices affordable.

In a television interview with VTV, Prime Minister Janez Janša spoke about the first months of the Government's term in office, the key development challenges facing Slovenia, the significance of the law on Slovenia's development, economic competitiveness, efforts to streamline the public sector and the planned changes to healthcare and education.

Prime Minister Janez Janša attended the official opening of the reconstructed Žalna–Velika Loka road, where he highlighted the importance of investment in local infrastructure, road safety and more balanced development throughout Slovenia. He also outlined the Government's efforts to increase the share of public funds spent at local level and ensure that taxpayers' money is used more efficiently and transparently.
