Government decisions at sessions of government committees

At the session of the Government Committee on the Economy, the Government reallocated the funds from the state budget and increased the dedicated assets and capital of the Eco Fund.

The Government reallocates the funds of the state budget

At today’s session of the Government Committee on the Economy, the Government of the Republic of Slovenia, among other things, reallocated EUR 21.7 million to the Ministry of Labour, Family, Social Affairs and Equal Opportunities for the payment of an increased proportion of benefits for pensioners and benefits under disability insurance in December.

Within the framework of the financial plan of the Ministry of Health, the Government reallocated EUR 5.1 million. The funds will be earmarked for the payment application as per Article 15 of the Healthcare Intervention Measures Act to ensure stability of the healthcare system for the services performed outside the regular scope of healthcare programmes in September.

The Government reallocated more than EUR 900,000 to the Ministry of Labour, Family, Social Affairs and Equal Opportunities. The funds will be allocated for the payment of legal obligations relating to the Pension and Disability Insurance Institute of the Republic of Slovenia.

Increase in dedicated assets and capital of the Eco Fund, Slovenian Environmental Public Fund

The Government decided to increase the dedicated assets and capital of the Eco Fund, Slovenian Environmental Public Fund, by means of the payment of EUR 46,038.23 from the budget item, Capital increase of the Environmental Protection Development Fund of the Republic of Slovenia. The increase in dedicated assets of the Eco Fund will be intended for crediting various environmental investments, particularly investments in the measures of renewable energy sources in order to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Each increase in dedicated assets of the Eco Fund denotes an increase in funds that may be granted at a more favourable interest rate.
