1st regular session of the Government of RS

The Government of the Republic of Slovenia under the leadership of Robert Golob met at their inaugural sessions today and adopted multiple decisions.

It appointed deputy prime ministers and also appointed Barbara Kolenko Helbl as the secretary general. It established the Committee of the RS Government for State Organisation and Public Matters, the Committee of the RS Government for the Economy, and the Committee of the RS Government for Administrative Matters and Appointments. It also appointed several state secretaries at the ministries.

The Government has appointed Tanja Fajon as Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Luka Mesec as Minister of Labour, Family, Social Affairs and Equal Opportunities, and Danijel Bešič Loredan as Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Health.

Regular sessions will generally take place on Thursdays and the sessions of their working bodies will be organised on Tuesdays.
