As the probability of infection with COVID-19 remains present, Slovenian citizens wishing to travel abroad are advised to follow the news on the spread of the virus, especially on the planned route, to check the conditions of entry into the country of destination, and to comply with local rules. Slovenian citizens returning from abroad are advised to follow the recommendations of the National Institute of Public Health (NIJZ).

Visa requirement for entering Slovenia

Visa is required. Visa is required also for airport transit area.

Citizens of Iran can apply for visa at the Embassy of the Republic of Slovenia in Tehran. Visa applicants need to submit their application in person at the Consular Section of the Embassy upon prior booking of an appointoment. The Embassy will not accept any visa application or documents outside confirmed appointments. Information about the appointment and visa procedure can be found on the website of the Embassy.
