Internal Market Directorate

The Internal Market Directorate prepares and implements the policies related to the single market of goods and services, technical legislation, national quality infrastructure, company law, consumer and competition protection, intellectual property, price control, trade activity and policy, postal services, funeral and cemetery services, and concealed war graves.

  • Requirements for products in the single market

    Consumer product safety and RAPEX, harmonised product area, non-harmonised product area, aerosol sprays, electromagnetic compatibility of equipment, simple pressure vessels, construction products, appliances burning gaseous fuels, low voltage electrical equipment, footwear and its labelling, personal protective equipment, recreational craft, crystal glass products, explosion protection, radio equipment, textile products and their labelling, pressure equipment, lift safety, safety of machinery

  • Trade Policy

    The European Union manages its trade and investment relations with non-EU countries through its trade and investment policy.

  • Aid to and restructuring of companies in difficulty

    Aid to and restructuring of companies in difficulty involves the granting of various types of state aid, which may be justified by social, regional or other reasons.

  • Commercial law

    Company law in the Republic of Slovenia regulates the rules for the establishment and operation of commercial companies, sole proprietors, related parties, economic interest groupings, subsidiaries of foreign companies and transformation of their legal form.
