Resilience Section
The tasks of the Resilience Section are related to strengthening the resilience of Slovenian society to various types of potential threats originating from both the information and the physical environment.
In the age of digital media and social networks, one of the section's key tasks is to inform the public, through various communication tools, about the dangers and forms of disinformation, particularly focusing on foreign information manipulation and interference (FIMI). When informing the public about potential FIMI attempts, the section plays a coordinating role in the activities of public relations advisers at ministries and government services.
The section also performs tasks in the field of defence planning as well as national protection and rescue plans, in addition to leading and coordinating crisis communication in cases of complex crises and hybrid threats.
