Office for Regional Operations

We perform administrative, professional and operational tasks in the field of protection against natural and other disasters with an emphasis on operational tasks arising from the National program of protection against natural and other disasters. We carry out our taks through branches placed around Slovenia.

We formulate risk assesments, prepare protection adn rescue plans for the regions, and coordinate municipal protection and rescue plans. We organize and ensure traininf and equipment readiness of regional units and Civil Protection services, as well as the regional Civil Protection headquarters, in accordance with organizational criteria and personnel and material formations of units, services, and Civil Protection. We are resposnible for contractual members of Civil Protection and preparedness of other units for regional protection, rescue and assistance.
