"My heart feels heavy with every new hospitalised patient and especially when they switch wards and are transferred to the intensive care unit. Protect yourself and your family. Please, get vaccinated." This is how the Secretary of State from the Department of Health adressed the public a few days ago.

In Slovenia, just over half of the population has been vaccinated, and the spread of the virus is not stopping. Neither in Slovenia nor in Europe, where just today the first infection with a new variant of the coronavirus was confirmed. Calls for vaccination are therefore all the more urgent.

The rainy weekend ahead will help most of us to stay at home. Let's get vaccinated, too, and break the chain of infections.
