Ministry of Foreign Affairs Travel Advice: COVID-19

As the probability of infection with COVID-19 remains present, Slovenian citizens wishing to travel abroad are advised to follow the news on the spread of the virus, especially on the planned route, to check the conditions of entry into the country of destination, and to comply with local rules. Slovenian citizens returning from abroad are advised to follow the recommendations of the National Institute of Public Health (NIJZ).

  • Embassy of the Republic of Slovenia in Cairo announces the removal of all COVID19-related limitations of our consular services. Clients are kindly advised that prior appointment via email is still needed to approach the Consular Department and that scans of the relevant documentation may also be requested in advance before allocating a time slot in particular cases.

  • We would like to inform our esteemed clients that the official hours of the Consular Department remain suspended until further notice. Our clients are kindly advised that prior appointment via phone (+20 2 37498171) or email (sloembassy.cairo@gov.si) is requested to perform any consular service. In particular cases, scans of the documentation may also be requested in advance before allocating a time slot for approaching the Consular Department.
