Commission Deciding on Compensation for Victims of Crime

The Commission decides on the granting of compensation that may be claimed by a victim of a premeditated violent act or by the victim's relatives pursuant to the Compensation to Crime Victims Act.

Members of the Commission

The Government of the Republic of Slovenia appointed the Commission Deciding on Compensation for Victims of Crime by way of decision of 9 June 2022. As of 10 June 2022, the Commission consists of the following experts in law and medicine:

Chair:

  • Tomaž Pavčnik, Supreme Court Judge Counsellor, Supreme Court of the Republic of Slovenia

Deputy Chair:

  • Dr Vesna Bergant Rakočević, Higher Court Judge, Ljubljana Higher Court
