Slovenia is blessed with numerous natural riches, an exceptional environment and great biodiversity. This wealth, however, does not belong to us but rather to our children. Therefore we have made the protection of nature and the environment, concern for clean air, water and soil, the limitation of pollution, and addressing climate change our priorities. We strive for balance between regional and rural development and the preservation of our exceptional spatial heritage.
