  • EU funding for energy efficient renovation of Ljubljana Intermediate Care Department

    Government Office for Development and European Cohesion Policy has issued a funding decision for the project Energy efficient renovation of Ljubljana Intermediate Care Department. The EUR 3.3 million project will be implemented by the Ministry of Health and supported by the EU, with the contribution from the Cohesion Fund standing at EUR 1 million. This is already the second approval of EU funding for Ljubljana Intermediate Care Department in a month.

  • EU funding for the industrial-service zone Šentjernej Fairgrounds

    Government Office for Development and European Cohesion Policy has approved funding for the project Road and utility infrastructure in the industrial-service zone Šentjernej Fairgrounds. The EUR 820,000 project will be implemented by the Municipality Šentjernej and supported by the EU, with the contribution from the European Regional Development Fund standing at nearly EUR 440,000.

  • Promoting entrepreneurship – EU funding for Vudina Business Zone

    Government Office for Development and European Cohesion Policy has approved EU funding for the project “Promoting entrepreneurship in Natura 2000 – Vudina Business Zone”. The project worth over EUR 940,000 will be implemented by the municipality Velika Polana and will receive nearly EUR 700,000 of European Regional Development Fund support.

    Government Office for Development and European Cohesion Policy has approved funding for the project Business Zone Arnovski gozd – expansion. The nearly EUR 3 million development project will be implemented by the Municipality Žalec and supported by the EU, with the contribution from the European Regional Development Fund amounting to almost EUR 1.5 million.

    Slovenian government has adopted the Report on the Implementation of EU Cohesion Policy 2014-2020 for the Investment in Growth and Jobs Goal for the Period January 2014-End of December 2020 and submitted it to the National Assembly.

  • Expanding the network of cycling routes: EU funding for cycling routes in municipality Ivančna Gorica

    Government Office for Development and European Cohesion Policy has approved EU funding for the project “DRR Cycling routes in the municipality Ivančna Gorica”. The project, implemented in the framework of the Agreement for the Development of the Osrednjeslovenska Development Region, is worth a little over EUR 2 million and will receive over EUR 1 million of European Regional Development Fund support.

  • Enhancing the economy in the Gorenjska region: EU funding for reconstructing transport infrastructure in the Jesenice Business Zone

    Government Office for Development and European Cohesion Policy has approved EU funding for the project “Jesenice Business Zone expansion – reconstructing transport infrastructure”. The project worth approximately EUR 1,1 million will be implemented by the Municipality Jesenice and will receive over EUR 610,000 of European Regional Development Fund support.

  • EU funding for cycle paths in municipality Krško

    Government Office for Development and European Cohesion Policy has issued a funding decision for the project Cycling connection Krško – Sotelsko - Brestanica. Total cost of the project that will be implemented in the scope of the Agreement on the development of the Posavje region amounts to EUR 375,000; the project will receive over EUR 110,000 from the European Regional Development Fund.

  • EU funding for cycle paths in municipalities Beltinci and Črenšovci

    Government Office for Development and European Cohesion Policy has issued a funding decision for the project Southern cycle route in municipalities Beltinci and Črenšovci. The project budget stands at nearly EUR 1.1 million, of which half, i.e. almost EUR 550,000 comes from the European Regional Development Fund.

  • EU funding for group homes catering to the needs of seniors under the age of 65

    Government Office for Development and European Cohesion Policy has issued a funding decision for the Call for proposals for co-financing residential care facilities for seniors under the age of 65. The amount of funding made available under the call stands at nearly EUR 7 million, of which over EUR 5.5 million comes from the European Regional Development Fund.

    Government Office for Development and European Cohesion Policy has issued a funding decision for the Call for co-financing the installation of small wind power plants. The total amount of funding available under the call stands at EUR 4 million and comes from the Cohesion Fund.

  • EU funding for Industrial Business Zone Cikava

    Government Office for Development and European Cohesion Policy has issued a funding decision for the project Industrial Business Zone Cikava. The EUR 3.5 million development project which will be implemented by the Urban Municipality Novo mesto will receive a contribution from the European Regional Development Fund amounting to over EUR 1.7 million.

  • EU funding for the renovation of non-profit housing units in Kranj

    Government Office for Development and European Cohesion Policy has issued a funding decision for the project Renovation of apartments owned by Urban Municipality Kranj. The EUR 260,000 project which will be implemented by the Urban Municipality Kranj will receive a contribution from the European Regional Development Fund amounting to nearly EUR 155,000.

  • Industrial Business Zone Lendava to be expanded with the help of EU

    Government Office for Development and European Cohesion Policy has issued a funding decision for the project Expansion of industrial area in the Industrial Business Zone Lendava. The EUR 318,000 development project which will be carried out by Municipality Lendava will be supported by the European Regional Development Fund with a contribution of EUR 193,000.

  • REACT-EU funding for Ljubljana Intermediate Care Department

    Government Office for Development and European Cohesion Policy has issued a funding decision for the project COVID-19 – Hospital renovation to extend capacities of Ljubljana Intermediate Care Department. The EUR 5.6 million project will be implemented by the Ministry of Health and supported by the European Regional Development Fund, with the contribution standing at EUR 4.5 million. This is already the second investment in a series of REACT-EU investments made under the massive NextGenerationEU instrument which helps EU countries recover from the COVID-19 pandemic.

  • EU funding for promoting entrepreneurship in the Goričko region

    Government Office for Development and European Cohesion Policy has approved EU funding for the project Promotion of entrepreneurship in the Goričko Natural Park. The EUR 1.2 million development project will be carried out by municipality Šalovci and will receive support from the European Regional Development Fund in the amount of EUR 570,000.

  • Substantial additional EU funding to restart business in problematic border areas

    Government Office for Development and European Cohesion Policy has approved additional EU funding for the “Call for proposals for financing of initiatives to restart business in problematic border areas – COVID 19” implemented by the Ministry of Economic Development and Technology. The total funding made available under the call for proposals amounts to over EUR 14.2 million of which the European Regional Development Fund contribution represents over EUR 10.5 million.

  • State Secretary Kirbiš Rojs and V4+ counterparts discuss preparation of national recovery and resilience plans

    State Secretary mag. Monika Kirbiš Rojs today participated in a video conference featuring high-level officials from the Visegrad Group, Bulgaria, Romania, Croatia, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia and Slovenia to share experience in the preparation of national recovery and resilience plans. The video conference was organised by the Polish Ministry of Development Funds and Regional Policy under the auspices of the Polish Presidency of the Visegrad Group.

  • EU funding for district RES heating

    Government Office for Development and European Cohesion Policy has issued a financial support decision for the “Call for proposals for co-financing district heating using renewable energy sources (code: JR DO OVE 2021)”. The total funding available under the call for proposals is fully contributed by the Cohesion Fund and amounts to EUR 16 million.
