This week, the Valley under the Ponce Mountains has once again become the centre of the world of ski jumping. The World Cup final, taking place in Planica this weekend, marks not only the end of the season, but also several important milestones for Slovenian and international sport.

The Škofja Loka Passion Play is based on the original work of Father Romuald, Lovrenc Marušič, dating from the early 18th century, and is regarded as the oldest preserved dramatic text in the Slovene language. The text of the Škofja Loka Passion Play was developed on the basis of the tradition of Slovene penitential processions.

At the initiative of the International Theatre Institute (ITI), established in 1948 on the proposal of UNESCO and theatre and dance experts, 27 March has been celebrated as World Theatre Day since 1962.

Self-sufficiency rates with honey and fruit very low In 2021, a resident of Slovenia consumed on average 116 kg of vegetables, 115 kg of cereals, 109 kg of fruit, 89 kg of meat, 63 kg of potatoes, 11 kg of eggs and 0.60 kg of honey for food.

Prof. Lucas Alejandro Garibaldi received the award for his contribution to raising awareness of the importance and role of pollination in the functioning of ecosystems and the impact on people's well-being. He is an internationally renowned scientist and researcher from Argentina, who has contributed significantly to raising awareness of the importance and preservation of bees and other pollinators around the globe. There are several situations where the Prime Minister or one or more ministers at the same time cease to hold office, namely if a vote of no confidence is passed (Article 116 of the Constitution), if a vote of confidence is not passed (Article 117 of the Constitution), in the event of their resignation or dismissal and every time a new National Assembly convenes following elections. Article 115 of the Constitution charges the Prime Minister and ministers with the power and duty to "perform their regular duties" until the election of a new Prime Minister or until the appointment of a new minister or ministers. As the concept of regular duties is not specified in detail anywhere in the Constitution, this constitutional provision must be interpreted in the spirit of its purpose, particularly as regards the main responsibilities entrusted to the holders of such offices under the Constitution and legislation.
