Government Visits the Gorenjska Region
191st Regular Session: On Key Infrastructure Projects for Gorenjska
At its 191st regular session, held as part of the regional visit, the Government was briefed on the status of spatial planning procedures for the Kranj North motorway junction and on the project assignment entitled “Expert Assessment of the Justification for Re-establishing Railway Infrastructure to the Hrušica Stop.”
The Government also adopted the Strategy for the Resilience of Critical Entities and assigned the tasks of the 114 call centre to the Government Office of the Secretary-General.

Prime Minister on Resilience and Security for All
As part of the regional visit to Gorenjska, Prime Minister Dr Robert Golob, accompanied by the Minister of Natural Resources and Spatial Planning, Jože Novak, first inspected the flood protection arrangements in the Selška Valley river basin aimed at reducing flood risk in Železniki. This was followed by a visit to the Dr Janko Benedik Home in Radovljica together with the Minister for a Solidary Future, Simon Maljevac, and the Minister of Infrastructure, mag. Alenka Bratušek.

Consultation with Business Representatives and Mayors
At the consultation in Kranj, Government representatives, mayors and business representatives discussed the key development priorities of the Gorenjska region. The main focus was on post-flood recovery, economic development, transport and other infrastructure, and improving conditions for living and working in the region.
