Government adopts response to the Draft Recommendation on the state of play in the fight against corruption

At today's meeting of the Committee on State Organisation and Public Affairs, the Government of the Republic of Slovenia adopted the response to the Draft Recommendation to the Government on the state of play in the fight against corruption in the Republic of Slovenia submitted to the National Assembly of the Republic of Slovenia by a group of deputies (first signatory: Jelka Godec), and forwarded it to the National Assembly of the Republic of Slovenia.

The Government rejects the proposed items (1 to 5) of the Recommendation on the grounds of their constitutional incompatibility or on the grounds that the National Assembly of the Republic of Slovenia in the present convocation has already taken a decision on them or has already considered them. Consequently, the Government proposes to delete the mentioned points of the Recommendation.
