Ministry hosts the 3rd Seminar for young diplomats from the Eastern Partnership countries

On 23 and 24 August, the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs hosts the 3rd Seminar for young diplomats from the Eastern Partnership countries, with participants from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine.

The seminar is aimed at strengthening ties with the Eastern partners through exchanges on key aspects of bilateral relations and on a range of international issues. This year, the seminar will also focus on topics concerning the rule of law and fighting corruption.

The seminar offers young diplomats an insight into Slovenia's foreign policy priorities, including Slovenia's upcoming non-permanent membership of the United Nations Security Council 2024–2025. Participants will also gain an appreciation of the European integration process and international standards in preventing corruption.

During their stay in Slovenia, the participants will also attend the Young Bled Strategic Forum (25–28 August) and the Bled Strategic Forum (28–29 August).
