Informatics Directorate
The Informatics Directorate is responsible for ensuring the comprehensive, secure, reliable and coordinated advancement of digitalisation across the public administration. It oversees the development, management and secure operation of key information systems, the government’s digital infrastructure and shared digital public services. By providing reliable IT infrastructure, advanced digital services, effective user support and a high level of information security, the Directorate creates the conditions for the seamless and efficient operation of government bodies and the effective delivery of public services.
As part of its remit, the IT Directorate brings together technological development, data and digital solutions management, IT infrastructure, trust services, and information security. It is responsible for the development and management of shared digital solutions and services for the state administration, ensures their connectivity and interoperability, and provides user support for their effective use. At the same time, it ensures the stable and secure operation of core IT infrastructure and develops and manages solutions that contribute to a modern, interconnected and user-centric digital government.
