The Anti-Trafficking Division
It provides expert support to the National Anti-Trafficking Coordinator in preparing proposals to strengthen the effectiveness of policies and measures, as well as periodic reports for the Government of the Republic of Slovenia, action plans and other strategic documents on anti-trafficking policy.
The Division also cooperates with European Union institutions and international organisations active in combating human trafficking and ensures the implementation of requirements and recommendations issued by relevant international monitoring mechanisms.

Trafficking in human beings is a phenomenon that occurs in all parts of modern society; it is becoming a structural element of some industries; and above all it grossly encroaches on the rights and fundamental freedoms of the individual who becomes a victim of such trafficking or exploitation.
