Rules for Commenting on the Ministry of Justice’s Social Media Accounts

The purpose of the Ministry of Justice’s social media activity is to inform the public about our work and decisions and to encourage constructive dialogue.

We will endeavour to respond to your questions and comments within a reasonable time, but we cannot guarantee that every comment will receive a response.

We want the Ministry’s social media pages to be a place where all citizens can participate, regardless of their beliefs or personal circumstances. To foster productive and constructive discussion and an exchange of views in which no one feels excluded or personally offended, please refrain from posting demeaning or offensive content or promoting any form of intolerance or discrimination.

Please do not post content that infringes copyright or contains advertising, and do not publish large numbers of repetitive or meaningless posts within a very short period of time (spam).

We reserve the right to remove posts and block users who persistently breach these rules.
