Public Accounting Directorate
The Directorate drafts legislation governing the preparation of annual reports for the central government budget, budget users and other public bodies; develops and supports ICT for budget-implementation purposes and the calculation of salaries and other costs of labour; keeps books of account for the budget and the majority of direct budget users; prepares data for annual financial statements of the budget and consolidated balance sheets of the central and local governments; in accordance with accounting rules, controls accounting documents before their entry into the books of account; makes payments on behalf of and from the budget and budget users; archives accounting documentation concerning the budget and budget users.
