Trademark, Design and Geographical Indications Division
The Trademark, Design and Geographical Indications Division's tasks are conducting procedures for the registration of trademarks, designs and geographical indications and include:
- conducting procedures for narrowing the list of goods or services of a registered trademark,
- preparing statements of defense, appeals and revisions against court judgments in administrative disputes against SIPO acts in the field of trademarks and designs,
- accepting applications for the international registration of trademarks and forwarding them to the International Bureau of WIPO for further proceedings,
- conducting procedures concerning extraordinary legal remedies and motions for restitution.
