Slovenia Weekly: A joint project

"The Bled Strategic Forum is our joint project, Slovenia's project and a brand we can be proud of," Foreign Minister Tone Kajzer said in his concluding remarks at the forum. Over the two days, around 2,000 participants gathered in Bled, and 33 discussions were held on a range of topics. The Bled Strategic Forum resonated across Europe and beyond. This year's forum featured substantive discussions on key geopolitical challenges. European and global security, the war in Ukraine, EU enlargement, the Western Balkans and transatlantic cooperation were at the forefront. Slovenian foreign policy remains rooted in values, while reflecting a realistic understanding of the world and the changing international environment. In this context, particular attention was also paid to Central Europe and to areas in which Slovenia can effectively pursue its interests.

Prime Minister Janša's main message at the Crafts and Entrepreneurship Forum was that the economy remains one of the key factors of stability, enabling Slovenia to continue to enjoy a relatively high level of prosperity. He also assured that the Government understands the importance of a stable, predictable and development-oriented business environment and will do everything in its power to remove unnecessary administrative barriers and burdens.
