Slovenia Weekly: The perfect place for development

Thanks to a new investment in a European distribution centre and a production plant for assembling robotic systems, the Kočevje complex is set to become Yaskawa’s largest facility in Europe. This will establish the Yaskawa campus in Kočevje as the leading centre for the production and sale of industrial robots in Europe. In his address, Anže Logar, the Minister of the Economy, Labour and Sport, assured the audience that the government would continue to support investments characterised by high added value, innovation and advanced technologies. He expressed his delight and pride that a company like Yaskawa had chosen Slovenia for its expansion and logistics centre. "Tell your partners – and even your competitors – that Slovenia will be the perfect place to set up regional centres, and the government will make sure that investments in people, technology and machinery are worthwhile."

Citizens traveling abroad now have access to the eLastovka app, which provides faster and easier access to key information and significantly more effective communication in the event of emergencies and crises. This marks a new era of consular protection for Slovenia. You can read more about it in the news article dedicated to the latest government podcast.
