Slovenia Weekly: Dignity and safety

"The key task of the Government is to ensure the long-term sustainability and security of pensions," stressed the Prime Minister in his address delivered on the occasion of the Days of Intergenerational Coexistence. As one of the Government's key tasks concerning issues related to older people he highlighted the introduction of long-term care and pension reform, which he considers as significant civilisational changes. "The implementation of these two tasks cannot be completed in a single, but across several future government terms," he noted. The common denominator of both reforms is that they touch on dignity and security.

The head of Slovenian diplomacy visits Moldova after more than a decade. Foreign Minister Tanja Fajon expressed commitment to strengthening political dialogue and accelerating economic cooperation between the two countries. At a meeting with Moldova's representatives, including President Maia Sandu, Minister Fajon welcomed Chisinau's efforts to join the EU.

For the sixth year in a row, the globally renowned Michelin culinary guide has recognised the best Slovenian restaurants, reaffirming the exceptional quality, sustainable focus and diversity of Slovenia's gastronomy. Slovenia now boasts 12 Michelin stars.
