North Macedonia can count on Slovenia’s full support on its path to the EU, said Prime Minister Robert Golob, who hosted his North Macedonian counterpart on an official visit to Slovenia on Monday. "We believe that the Euro-Atlantic integration of North Macedonia is one of the important guarantees for the stability of the Western Balkans. North Macedonia’s EU accession process must therefore be completed as soon as possible."

The Prime Minister announced that Slovenia would play an active role in this process both in Brussels and in the region itself and noted that the EU has to adapt the whole process to the current situation. This is a historic moment for North Macedonia. Afters year of waiting, North Macedonia started EU accession negotiations last July, and the Slovenian Prime Minister said that "North Macedonia has always been part of Europe and now it is time for it to become part of the European family".

Health is one of the most important values, and it is important to take care of it and maintain it as much as possible. Health and well-being always start with us. On the occasion of World Health Day, there will be more opportunities to focus on this at several events taking place across the country.

Brussels has given the green light to Slovenia’s airline subsidy programme, which the Government hopes will improve Slovenia’s air connectivity. At the correspondence session, the Government included this project in the current Development Programmes Plan 2023–2026.
