Just before the start of a new heat wave, Slovenia (like the rest of Europe) is facing new waves of the covid-19 epidemic and price increases. The government is addressing both issues, but ahead of next winter we all seem to be more concerned about electricity and heating prices than about the coronavirus. After all, we have been living with it for three years and we are getting a bit used to it. Hovwever, we have forgotten a little about inflation and the daily price rises. Fortunately, the government hasn't: it is taking urgent measures to alleviate the costly situation in various areas, promoting solidarity and cooperation in overcoming the energy crisis in the EU, and preparing the country for the winter months.

In a heat wave, it seems excessive to think about winter. This time it is not. But we wish you a pleasant shade with a delicious ice-cream at your fingertips to ward off the winter and worries.
