The epidemiological situation in Slovenia is calming down. Slowly and with great caution, life is returning to its usual tracks. Catering, accommodation and other activities, including cultural events, will re-launch as of Monday – subject to preventive measures and, in particular, to the RVT condition. This condition means, in particular, that you can participate in public life if you are an R(econvalescent), V(accinated), or you have a negative T(est). It sounds as unusual as it may, but it is likely to be the biggest approximation of life that we had before March 2020.

Such a development is the case in Slovenia, but the epidemic is slowing down also at the European level. The introduction of the Green Certificate will facilitate the free movement of persons and services, which are two of the cornerstones of the EU. Its pan-European use will undoubtedly make it easier for you to visit Slovenia, which will not only be an attractive tourist destination this summer. However, because of the Council Presidency (as of 1 July 2021), it will be high on the list of missions of diplomats and other public officials in most European countries.
