Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs Travel Advice: COVID-19

As the probability of infection with COVID-19 remains present, Slovenian citizens wishing to travel abroad are advised to follow the news on the spread of the virus, especially on the planned route, to check the conditions of entry into the country of destination, and to comply with local rules. Slovenian citizens returning from abroad are advised to follow the recommendations of the National Institute of Public Health (NIJZ).

Tanja Strniša

On 12 August, the President of the Republic of Slovenia signed a decree on the appointment of Tanja Strniša as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Slovenia to the Czech Republic.

Ambassador Tanja Strniša presented her letters of credence to the President of the Czech Republic Miloš Zeman on 21 November 2019.

Ms Tanja Strniša is the outgoing State Secretary at the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Food. Previously, she served as State Secretary at the Ministry of Agriculture and the Environment, Acting Director-General at the Ministry of Agriculture and the Environment, and Head of the Project Group for Coordination of Preparations for EU Council Presidency at the Government Office for European Affairs.
