Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs Travel Advice: COVID-19

As the probability of infection with COVID-19 remains present, Slovenian citizens wishing to travel abroad are advised to follow the news on the spread of the virus, especially on the planned route, to check the conditions of entry into the country of destination, and to comply with local rules. Slovenian citizens returning from abroad are advised to follow the recommendations of the National Institute of Public Health (NIJZ).

The Embassy of the Republic of Slovenia in Beijing is responsible for China, Mongolia, North Korea, Thailand and Vietnam.

Bilateral relations between the Republic of Slovenia and the People's Republic of China are friendly and cooperative since the establishing diplomatic relations on 12 May 1992. The Embassy of the Republic of Slovenia in Beijing is the official representation of the Slovenian government to the People's Republic of China and started to operate on 25 February 1993.

Diplomatic relations with the Kingdom of Thailand were established on 9 September 1992, with Mongolia on 18 February 1993 and with Socialist Republic of Vietnam on 7 June 1994.
