Easy to read content
Easy reading is a special form of written communication that enables easier understanding of texts for a wider group of people, especially those with reading comprehension difficulties, including people with disabilities, with an emphasis on people with intellectual disabilities. The two basic principles in preparing easy reading are readability and comprehensibility for the target group of users.
Since the measure entitled Introducing more flexible working methods adapted to the needs of people with disabilities is intended for topics related to the employment and training of people with disabilities, key laws on employment have been adapted for easy reading within the scope of the measure.
In addition, an easy-to-read Guide to Social Rights, a leaflet on violence, and a leaflet on rights at the birth of a child have also been created.
In preparing easy-to-read materials, the Ministry followed the EU rules for preparing information in an easy-to-read and easy-to-understand format. That is why all materials are marked with the blue easy reading logo:
