Climate Resilient-Regions Through Systemic Solutions & Innovations
This video follows a presentation of the ARSINOE: Building a low-carbon, clmate resilient future: Research and innovation in support of the European Green Deal project. In the introduction, the author presents the underpinning concept behind the project, which is adaptation to climate change and the three-tier solution which the project proposes. Then she outlines the objectives of the project and the tools that will be used to achieve them. This is followed by a brief introduction of the nine case studies with the issues that are observed.

Water4Cities: An ICT Platform Enabling Holistic Surface Water and Groundwater Management for Sustainable Cities
This video explores the water challenges faced by the island of Skiathos, particularly in terms of water quality. The drinking water on the island is unsafe due to contamination from mercury and excess salinity. Cinnabar, a mineral present in the Earth's crust in Skiathos' aquifer, is the source of the natural mercury contamination. The author presents a study investigating the potential for mercury contamination in coastal regions and concludes by outlining the scientific methods used in the study.

The Water-Energy Nexus at City Level: The Case Study of Skiathos
This presentation examines the water-energy nexus analysis on the Greek Island of Skiathos. The study was conducted by utilising PCC and Minkowski distance, both of which were thoroughly explained. Results indicate a strong linear correlation between the utilisation of energy in various sectors such as agriculture, commercial, and industry, and total water consumption. Conversely, no correlation was detected between the utilisation of residential energy and total water consumption.

Promoting the use of Public Areas for Sustainable Stormwater Management in Cities with Mediterranean Climate
This presentation focuses on showcasing small scale sustainable stormwater management techniques and their possible implementation into public areas on the case of the city of Limassol. Furthermore, it looks into the transformation of public areas into multifunctional spaces. The author underlines that the presented techniques can be standalone or supplementary to the existing conventional drainage systems. The efforts presented are being done in order to incorporate sustainable practices into the mindset of infrastructure design.

Municipal Wastewater Treatment Plant as a Source of Bisphenols in the Environment
The author presents a study that focused on the presence of bisphenols in the environment (namely, in sludge and effluent) as a direct consequence of the municipal wastewater treatment. Firstly, the author outlines some characteristics of bisphenols and their sources, as well as the ways in which they can reach people. She presents the aims of the research, and the possibilities of the removal of bisphenols from wastewater. She then explains the methods of work and the case study of Domžale-Kamnik wastewater treatment plant and finally concludes that wastewater treatment plants should be upgraded to advanced treatment technologies.

6th Water4Cities Webinar: Modelling Tools for Various Urban Water Supply System Components
The video begins by outlining the necessity for creating modelling tools in the context of SDGs and the UN Agenda 30. The author then explains the practical benefits and advantages of modelling for urban water supply systems. This brief explanation is followed by the presentation of different approaches to modelling and predicting urban water demand. The subsequent segment of the video showcases a case study on the island of Skiathos. Lastly, the author suggests some feasible activities for future work.
