Measures to help the business sector recover from flood damage

The government reacted immediately and started drawing up a comprehensive set of measures to set businesses in the affected areas back on their feet as soon as possible. With amendments to the Natural Disaster Recovery Act and the Act Determining the Intervention Measures to Remedy the Consequences of the Floods and Landslides in August 2023, certain measures are being introduced to help the affected businesses.

The Natural Disaster Recovery Act enables funds in non-refundable form (as subsidies) or refundable form (as loans or guarantees), both in the form of loan funds and in the form of guarantee schemes, to be allocated to eliminate the consequences of damage to businesses.

With a comprehensive package of measures to assist the economy, we want to help the affected businesses to repair the damageretain employees and restart operations as soon as possible, and thus also retain existing customers.
