Introducing the Digital Student ID Card

The digital student ID card will replace the existing physical student ID card.

The digital student ID card will contain:

• the student's photograph,
• full name,
• the name of the higher education institution with which the student's status is associated,
• the date of issue and validity of the student ID card,
• the validity period of the student's status,
• the European Student Identifier (ESI),
• the European Student Card Number (ESCN),
• QR codes.

Use of the Digital Student ID Card

The Ministry of education, science and youth is preparing the introduction of a national digital student ID card in the form of a mobile application that will be available for Android and iOS operating systems. Students will be able to download the application from the official Google Play Store and Apple App Store. After authentication through SI-PASS, the application will display digital student ID card data retrieved from the eVŠ information system. The digital student ID card will present relevant student ID information as well as enrolment data recorded for the student in eVŠ.

The digital student ID card is currently in the process of being published in the application stores (Apple App Store and Google Play Store). Information about the availability of the application will be published on this page.
