On 13 and 14 May, leading representatives of the regulatory bodies of the Czech Republic, Hungary, Slovakia, Finland, Poland and Slovenia gathered in Portorož for their regular annual meeting to learn about important developments in the field of nuclear safety in these countries.

The international exercise INEX-6, prepared by the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development, Nuclear Energy Agency (OECD NEA), was completed at the Slovenian Nuclear Safety Administration (SNSA).

On November 28, 2023, an important stride towards ensuring the safety of nuclear and radiation practices in the Republic of Slovenia was achieved as the National Assembly unanimously embraced the Resolution on nuclear and radiation safety for the forthcoming decade, spanning 2024-2033.

Krško Nuclear Power Plant (NPP) commenced with repairs on a damaged pipeline of the safety injection system after the plant shutdown and transfer of fuel assemblies from the reactor to the spent fuel pool.
