Following today's National Security Council session, Prime Minister Robert Golob issued the following written statement: "Given the escalating global tensions and the increasingly frequent forecasts of a looming economic crisis, Slovenia today more than ever needs unity and cooperation, namely a broad coalition or a government of national unity.

Tomorrow's meeting of all the democratic parliamentary parties is intended precisely for this purpose: making a sincere joint effort to find common solutions and paths that will make Slovenia and its economy more competitive in the face of challenging international conditions. Only by strengthening our economy can we protect our citizens from the impending crisis.

To this end, the AS – Ambitious Slovenia programme sets out a vision for development aimed at creating the conditions for long-term productivity growth and higher added value in the Slovenian economy.
