Call for Proposals funded by the Second Swiss Contribution

The Ministry of the Environment, Climate and Energy has published a call for proposals funded by the Second Swiss Contribution, with a total value of EUR 13.8 million.

On 28 November 2025, the Ministry of the Environment, Climate and Energy published a call for proposals for co-financing investments in renewable energy communities and use of shallow geothermal energy for the period 2026-2029 in the Official Gazette of the Republic of Slovenia (No. 94/2025).

The call provides grants to co-finance investments in renewable energy communities through the construction of new renewable energy facilities (solar power plants), as well as investments in replacing fossil fuel boilers with geothermal heat pumps using shallow geothermal energy (geothermal heat pumps) in Slovenian secondary and tertiary education.
