The purpose of the call is to develop national CAE projects in the fields of film, music, performing, and visual arts. The funding will be used to increase access to high-quality CAE content and activities in educational institutions and non-formal education settings. The project will develop the competencies of children and young people, particularly cultural awareness and expression through art.

The main objectives of the project are to enable the development of innovative forms of cooperation among cultural institutions, artists, educational institutions, and local communities; to ensure equal access to cultural content regardless of place of residence or social status; and to strengthen cooperation and networking among cultural institutions, educational institutions, and local communities at the local, regional, and national levels.

The call for proposals is implemented within the framework of Slovenia’s Cohesion Policy Programme 2021–2027, Priority 6 Skills and a responsive labour market. The call contributes to the objective of improving the quality, inclusiveness, effectiveness, and labour market relevance of education and training systems.

The total amount of public funds allocated for the implementation of the call is €2,618,616.80. The total European Union contribution from the European Social Fund Plus (ESF+) amounts to €1,671,986.82.
