As part of the EU-funded project, the municipalities Rogatec and Podčetrtek will provide new areas for business activities and ensure conditions for the growth and development of companies in the region. The investment in the municipality of Rogatec includes the purchase of a building that will be completely renovated, providing more than 330 square meters of space for incubated companies. In the municipality of Podčetrtek, a new building will be constructed, providing more than 640 square meters of space for incubated companies. The project will contribute to the establishment of new companies and assist in their operation, growth, and development. It will enhance competitiveness, provide higher-quality jobs, and modernise the region’s economic structure.
The project Rogatec–Podčetrtek Network Business Incubator is implemented under Slovenia’s EU Cohesion Policy Programme 2021-2027, priority Innovative knowledge-based society and pursues the specific objective Enhancing sustainable growth and competitiveness of SMEs and job creation in SMEs, including by productive investments.
The project, worth €5,202,871, will receive European Regional Development Fund support of €3,314,780.70.
