EU funding for a national culture and arts education hub
As part of the EU-funded project, the Cankar Hall public institution will establish a national culture and arts education hub – culture bazaar. The project will provide support and an information environment for the development of a national network for culture and arts education, thereby ensuring better cooperation among cultural institutions, creators, educational institutions, and local communities within the national network for culture and arts education. The project will contribute to better access to quality content and activities in the field of culture and arts education at both regional and national levels, as well as to improving conditions for a stimulating, safe, and creative learning environment and for healthy, quality, and creative leisure activities for children and young people.
The project is implemented under Slovenia’s EU Cohesion Policy Programme 2021-2027, priority Skills and responsive labour market and pursues the specific objective Improving the quality, inclusiveness, effectiveness and labour market relevance of education and training systems including through validation of non-formal and informal learning, to support acquisition of key competences including entrepreneurial and digital skills, and by promoting the introduction of dual-training systems and apprenticeships.
The project, worth €435,600, will receive a contribution of €278,130.60 from the European Social Fund Plus.
