The aim of the project is to improve working conditions and extend the working life of prison system employees. To this end, a competency model is being established and implemented, and various professional and soft skills of employees are being strengthened through education and training.

All prison system employees will be included in project activities aimed at improving the quality of the working environment, adapting to change, promoting mental health, and promoting health in the workplace. This reduces the risk of early exit from the work process, improves motivation, and increases the adaptability of employees in a rapidly changing environment.

The project will particularly focus on digital skills, which contribute significantly to the introduction of more flexible forms of work organisation and increase the organisation's resilience to external challenges.

By investing in professional development, increasing satisfaction, and creating opportunities for advancement within the system, the project contributes to reducing staff turnover and strengthening internal mobility and efficiency within the prison system.

The beneficiary of the financial contribution for the project is the Prison Administration of the Republic of Slovenia.

The European Social Fund Plus will contribute €994,200 in European funds to the project, which has a total value of €1,500,000.
