Minister Asta Vrečko officially opens renovated Rural Transport Museum

With the help of EU funds from the Recovery and Resilience Plan and the Municipality of Divača, the Ministry of Culture has provided EUR 2.9 million for the project to renovate buildings in the area of the old toll house in Senožeče. After two years of intensive work, this historic building in the centre of Senožeče has been transformed into a modern interpretation centre that sustainably connects the history of the town and the country, cultural heritage and tourism. The opening of the Rural Transport Museum marks the completion of one of the most important cultural investments in the municipality of Divača in the last decade and a half.

The Ministry of Culture provided EUR 1,556,028.82 through the Recovery and Resilience Plan, while the Municipality of Divača provided EUR 1,354,221.41. The total value of the project is EUR 2,910,250.23.
