EU funding for better access to long-term care services and information on long-term care
The Ministry of Cohesion and Regional Development has approved EU funding for the project Accessible Long-Term Care – Better access to long-term care services and information on long-term care. The project. The project, worth a total of €1,243,363, will receive €777,101.88 of European Social Fund Plus support.
The project aims to support the implementation of the Long-Term Care Act, particularly by increasing the accessibility of long-term care services and enhancing the information available to beneficiaries and the general public about their rights and care options. The project will contribute to better informing the population about long-term care and strengthening professional support for its further development in Slovenia.
The project will run an information campaign between 2025 and 2027 and establish a call centre to provide information to beneficiaries and all those in need of information on long-term care.
The beneficiary of the financial contribution for the project is the Ministry of a Solidarity-Based Future.
