The call for proposals will co-finance activities aimed at designing new specific forms of work and teaching methods and at developing teacher training programmes that will equip both the teaching and non-teaching staff with the relevant skills for work with students in lower vocational education programmes. The call will provide activities fostering social inclusion of students from vulnerable groups. Thus, different forms of personalised and targeted interventions will be designed and carried out to meet the learning needs, abilities and interests of struggling students. Student support services will be provided in smaller groups or classes too.

The call for proposals will be carried out under priority Long-term care and health, and social inclusion of Slovenia’s EU Cohesion Policy Programme 2021-2027. It will pursue specific objective Promoting social integration of people at risk of poverty or social exclusion, including the most deprived persons and children.

The €1.5 million call will receive €600,000 from the European Social Fund Plus.

The Ministry of Education will publish the call for proposals in the Official Gazette of the Republic of Slovenia on 6 June 2025.
