PM Robert Golob's response to the nomination of former president Pahor as EU Special Representative
Prime Minister Robert Golob expresses his unconditional support to the former President of the Republic of Slovenia, Borut Pahor, in his candidacy for the EU Special Representative for the Belgrade–Pristina Dialogue and other Western Balkan regional issues. That is why he has held in the past month numerous bilateral talks with EU leaders and senior EU representatives.
Prime Minister Golob is of no doubt that former President Pahor, through his political work and experience to date, has proved that he is a great friend of the countries of the Western Balkans and that his efforts, as well as Slovenia's, are aimed at integrating the countries of the Western Balkans into the European Union, ensuring peace and stability in the Western Balkans and, by extension, in Europe as a whole.
