Embassy of the Republic of Slovenia in the USA hosted a presentation and degustation of Slovenian wines on January 31st 2024. Representatives of Klet Krško and Ptujska klet were personally present at the Embassy. Degustation was organized for American importers, retailers, sellers, distributors and restaurants from D.C., Maryland and Virginia. The event was organized by Marq Wine Group and was part of the "Wines of Slovenia" promotion touring in Chicago, Dallas, New York and Washington D.C..

Ambassador Mirošič welcomed the winemakers Ms. Metelko and Mr. Mandl and was please to see such a great turnout. The presentation and degustation of nine wine companies (Albiana, Ptujska Klet, Klet Krško, Dveri Pax, Penine Istenič, Vina Čuk, Vina Ronk, Vina Simčič, Vino Kristančič) and one water company (Cana water) was led by Sommelie Mr. Andrey Ivanov from Bliss company.

As a part of the Slovenian wine presentation in the States, Marq Wine Group set up a new website www.wineslovenia.com for promotional purposes.
